REGISTRATIONS FOR 2026 OPENING SOON!

On behalf of McDonald’s Victoria and Melbourne City FC, it’s our pleasure to welcome all teams, coaches and families participating in the 2026 Macca’s ®  City Cup.

The three-day tournament will see boys’ and girls’ teams from throughout Victoria compete in divisions from Under 7’s to Under 16’s for their chance to be crowned Macca’s  City Cup Champions. ​

Tournament Dates 

Friday 27 March 2026

Some teams to play first-round matches from 6 pm to  9 pm. 

Saturday 28 March 2026

Group matches. Matches can take place from 8 am to 9 pm.

Sunday 29 March 2026

Finals matches. Matches can take place from 8 am to 6 pm.

Mixed (Boys and Girls teams can enter)

• U7 - 5v5 
• U8 - 7v7 | Copa and Liga Divisions 
• U9 - 7v7 | Copa and Liga Divisions 

Boys* 

• Under 10 - 9v9 | Copa and Liga Divisions 
• Under 11s - 9v9 | Copa and Liga Divisions
• Under 12s - 9v9 | Copa and Liga Divisions
• Under 13s - 9v9 | Copa and Liga Divisions
• Under 14s - 11v11 | Copa and Liga Divisions
• Under 15/16s - 11v11

*Female players are welcome to play in boys teams

Girls

• Under 10/11 - 9v9 
• Under 12/13 - 9v9
• Under 14/15 - 11v11

Copa

• This division is for Kangaroos / A-Grade / NPL and Academy teams only

Liga

• This division is for Metro Wallabies / Joeys / B-Grade / C-Grade / D-Grade teams only. Regional Teams playing in a regional competition can also enter this grade.
• Metro teams must provide a signed letter from the Club Technical Director or President / Secretary attesting that all players in the team are eligible to play in the competition as part of your registration, and needs to be emailed to registrations@footballskool.com.au within 14 days of registering.  Failure to do so will result in your team being moved to the relevant Copa competition.
• Kangaroos, A-Grade and NPL players are not eligible to play in this division without permission from the tournament

If a Copa Division is sold out in your age group and you are a Kangaroos/A/NPL Team please do not register into a Liga competition.

Academy Teams

• Academy teams must enter the Copa division unless permission is granted from the tournament

U7 Division

• This competition will be played on Sunday 29 March only.
• Teams will play round-robin with no finals
• All players will receive a medal

U8 – U16 Divisions

• Teams may be scheduled to play a Friday night match from 6pm unless specifically stated to be not available on the registration form. U7 teams will not be scheduled to play.
